Abstract

To address the challenges of high labor costs and physical strain in small-scale potato harvesting in Gansu’s Longzhong hilly regions, and to address the shortage of young and able-bodied agricultural labor, this study proposes a bionic-inspired self-propelled multifunctional potato harvester. The innovative design integrates digging, conveying, separating, and potato collection mechanisms, significantly enhancing mechanization efficiency in potato harvesting.
